What kind of food can we dehydrate ?
Most foods can be dehydrated with no issues including dals, vegetable curries, dry sabzis, rice recipes, chutney, fruits, herbs, etc.
Does it make the food less healthy ?
No, it has no impact on nutritional value of the food. The process simply dehydrates the food by removing all moisture, hence making it lighter & long lasting for transit.
What do I need to do ?
Just contact us and let us know what the food item is, approximate quantity, and keep the cooked food ready for collection ideally at room temperature on the agreed timeslot.
How much time does it take ?
After collection, the dehydration & packaging process can take upto 2-3 days. It is then immediately shipped out through our couriers to the final delivery destination.
Does the process involve any preservatives / additives ?
The process involves no preservatives whatsoever. We do not add anything to your food and dehydrate it immediately as we receive it.
How to heat / prepare the dehydrated food ?
Empty the contents into boiling water. (qty. specified by us).
Stir well & Simmer for 5 mins.

Can I also process breads like roti / thepla ?
Breads like roti, paratha, thepla etc. do not need to be dehydrated. They can be vaccuum packed. We can do that too.
What is the shelf life of dehydrated meals ?
Depending on the nature of the food, shelf life can vary between 6-8 months.
When should the food be prepared ?
The food should be cooked ideally on the same day of collection. Cooking the food as close to the pickup time while ensuring it is at room temperature helps lock in the freshness when dehydrated.
Can we order from a specific restaurant / food joint ?
Sure ! We can dehydrate any food ! Be it homemade or your favourite restaurant’s signature dish !
Does it need refrigeration after dehydration ?
The dehydrated food packets can be stored in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. It does not require refrigeration.
